They let a few inches of water out of the dam and now it probably won't overflow. I pretty much expected that was what would happen. Which is why I posted yesterday in the heat of the drama. Because the drama was really as much about how news spreads in a small town--fast!! with great exaggeration!! from neighbor to neighbor, on the street, outside school, in the supermarket--as it was about water.
It sure has gotten cold, though.
