E: I had people come to my tee ball game every day. Daddy came on Saturday, and Grandma and Grandpa E came on Sunday.
Me: What am I, chopped liver?
E: You always come. You don't count.

I wrote a whole essay on this once (sort of). Moms don't count. We disappear. On the other hand, see Caroline's recent post: we are culture! We're everywhere!
