Chocolate Conundrum

If you have a box of chocolates with quite a lot of chocolates, and they are exceedingly delicious chocolates, do you eat quite a lot of them every day until you are done with the box, because you will eat them all eventually anyway, so you might as well eat them all now, or do you eat one a day, because eating so much chocolate at once can't possibly be good for you, and by stretching the box over time, you will get that much pleasure for that much longer?

Is this a trick question? I eat a disturbing amount all at once, throw the box in the trash, fish it out later and eat some more until they are all gone.

I'm totally on the one-a-day theory, at least if they're really nice chocolates; but that's contingent on you really having the box to yourself, if someone else is going to raid them then you might as well go ahead and eat them a lot more quickly!

Alas, it is doubtful that I will ever definitively answer this question, as my husband's many excellent qualities do not include the ability to distinguish "exceedingly delicious chocolates" from "available for purchase at the mall" chocolates.

Were I to be in possession of exceedingly delicious chocolates, though, I think I'd be a one-a-day type of eater. Really good chocolates are to savor. Unlike teh mall chocolates, which are to eat large amounts of very quickly while in the throes of PMS.

It depends on whether there is anyone else in the house that will decimate said chocolates. If not, then one or two a day. (Why yes I did come from a big family- how did you know?)

theoretically one a day...oh, so difficult to stick to. I'm a chocolate glutton.

I stretch it out and have my husband hide the box for me. This is the first time I have done this. It's also the first time I have gotten a box of chocolates from him, because it's the first time I asked. We got them late because of weather delays and I still have half the box. It's working out, surprisingly.
