Onion Soup, Old School
S made the onion soup from Sunday's NY Times Magazine last night, and M and I had the leftovers for dinner tonight. Consider this a recommendation. It's super delicious, and so easy I think I'll be making it again myself, though it does take a long time.
A hopelessly feminist intellectual blogs about kids, books, celebrities, knitting, politics, pop culture, the Red Sox, and whatever else strikes her fancy.

Oh, I'm dying to try it. So, is "tomato puree" the same as tomato paste, or should I be looking for something else?
Good to know - it looked really good. Is he/are you going to make the updated dessert version?
