Finally I Have Something to Say About the Frey Fiasco
Way to reclaim your integrity, Oprah: admit loudly and clearly that you were wrong; offer no excuses for yourself; call other people out on their excuses. I know a few politicians who could serious benefit from your example.

I am going to become amazingly savvy as I continue to read your blog (if I live long enough to follow all the links). I love it, Grandpa
I hate Oprah. And all those people who read Frey's memoir, (a word to me which conveys that you're making a good story out of a piece of your life and not telling the exact truth but rather an interesting presentation of the gist of what happened, where the intention of the story remains the same as the actual event but in telling you have the right to edit and doctor it up)and are upset by his change in details. Besides, the guy's a junkie and an alcoholic, of course he's going to embellish and exaggerate.
A hopelessly feminist intellectual blogs about kids, books, celebrities, knitting, politics, pop culture, the Red Sox, and whatever else strikes her fancy.
